If you’re driving down Pemberton Drive on a summer evening, you’ll likely pass by a baseball game going on at Jaycee Park. The fields are home to several divisions of West Salisbury Little League teams: 9/10 year olds, 11 year olds, Majors (11/12 year olds), Juniors (13/14 year olds), and Seniors (15/16 year olds). The park has 3 baseball fields with lights, covered dugouts, and electronic scoreboards. Additionally, there is a permanent concession building with a covered picnic area and public restrooms. Games are played from April through July each year, with teams from each division hosting other Little League teams from throughout the region.

In 2007, 11 boys from the West Salisbury Little League earned the honor of competing together in the 61st Annual Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. They were one of the final eight teams in the United States, capturing the attention of baseball fans across Delmarva.
